'Bad Trip' Interview Ft. Eric Andre and Lil Rel Howery | Around the Table | Entertainment Weekly

Eric Andre, Kitao Sakurai, and Lil Rel Howery sit down to discuss their new prank film ‘Bad Trip’.

Eric Andre and Lil Rel Howery team up to prank all sorts of unsuspecting people in the Netflix comedy film Bad Trip, but it could have wound up as their last adventure in misadventures.

“It’s incredibly stressful,” Andre says of filming in a dynamic, anything-goes environment. “I almost got Rel killed on his first day. So that’s the level of stress — almost-being-murdered level of stress. Yeah, it’s terrifying.” (Bear in mind that this is a guy who is no stranger to stranger danger, having done all of this on Adult Swim’s The Eric Andre Show.)

  1. I just watched this movie!!! I LOVE ERIC ANDRE!!!! This movie was so dam funny and unexpected!!!! I want to be in the cast if u make another one ERIC!!! This was the BEST movie ever!!!! I've never laughed so hard!!

  2. That dude that said everyone had a friend named Bud for sure thought you were either buying or selling weed.

Either way the movie was super funny, and it was like a feel good movie. I especially loved seeing the reactions at the end. I will be rewatching this one for years I think.

  3. The movie was absolutely great. Loved every minute of it. This interview was also really good and the part where they describe us as being more united than what the media portrays just hit me right in the feels. Love it!

  4. I expected vulgar, absurd, & gross-out but having my faith in humanity restored was a much welcome suprise. A movie hasn't made me laugh OR smile this much in a very long time. I needed that tbh.

  5. Loved the movie but just wanted to point something out Entertainment Weekly, at 19:21 and 19:51 you forgot to bleep Eric. They were talking over eachother so I see how it could have slipped under your radar, but you got 98% of them.

  6. I'm just wondering why it took so long to give this movie the recognition it deserves it been a year since it came out better late than never I guess , just glad more people are watching it
