From the Bay Area to Los Angeles, you can’t be in California without knowing the hit song, “That’s My Word,” by Bay Area legend Keak Da Sneak. The song, which was released during the Hyphy Movement, is still as classic and very much relevant today, thanks to artists sampling the song like Blac Chyna. Last year she released her single, “My Word,” featuring Keak and another Bay Area legend, Too Short. The music video released last September and has over 1 million views on YouTube and nearly 2 million streams on Spotify!
Recently while Chyna was in what appears to be a club in Miami, she shared a video on the gram of her hopping on the mic and performing a little bit of the song. Chyna looked amazing with a beat face and long curly hair. She spit her lyrics, “You ain’t never seen a bi**h like this. You ain’t neva seen a boss like this. I keep a bag in my Birkin baby. Boss so I’m never not working baby,” while taking a moment to show off the icy watch on her wrist.
Although you couldn’t see everyone in the crowd, they were hype and yelled “aye” in the background. Chyna is living up to her lyrics about being a boss. Outside of being a rapper and a mother, she is also an entrepreneur that owns several businesses, including Lashed Cosmetics and Blac Chyna’s Closet. She has been going hard with her music for a while and has been collaborating with some of the best in the industry, like Asian Doll. The two released their single, “Doom,” three months ago.
Roommates, are yall looking forward to hearing more music from Blac Chyna?
