How to Trim Your Videos with the Video Editor in YouTube Studio

With the video editor in YouTube Studio, you can cut out the beginning, middle, or end of your video on a computer. You don’t need to re-upload a video to trim it — plus, the video’s URL, view count, and comments will stay the same.

  2. It didn't show me a preview or let have more than one clip, then when I clicked save, it said it would take over an hour. So it basically takes over an hour just to adjust one tiny thing in my video. 🙁

  3. In this official tutorial, 33 minutes long video is beig cut. I uploaded 18 minutes of video and the editor says I can't cut it because it is too long. This tutorial is misleading at best. As for the practical use of the editor, I want to cut the video exactly BECAUSE it is too long. If I had to review this tool, out of five stars it would recieve 0 because it can't do the one single task it was designed to do.

  4. Hey, I'd like to censor some parts in a video for my own game-account security, but I want to have it handled as discreetly as possible because I don't want to cause a Streisand effect.
I do the exact same edits each time, for two months now, but it never saves the changes.
Neither a message pops up that it is starting it, kind of a loading bar to show the progress or anything says that the changes are being made.
Even saving as a new video doesn't say anything, no new video gets added or at least an error message to know that it failed or something to report.
