    I am very confused, the moment I painted the object the background appeared not the object itself, Please help "8:56".
    I did follow everything but ended up the wrong object. i did several solutions but nothing was good. please help asap 🙁

    16:54 what I had in my mind is just copy the original photo put above this and layer. Mask it out and invert it and just paint where the inside fringes occured with foreground color white simple

    Try as I might, I cannot clip the "fringes" layer to the one below with the little down pointing arrow. It only makes a copy of the Fringes layer. Help? It was going so well and Now I am stuck. :/ Thanks so much if there is anyone out there!!! EDIT: Never mind, did it from the menu, but cannot for the life of me drag it over the line between the layers (which lights up blue, but nothing else happens). Hugs.

    when I get to control L to darken the background, the image goes darker but NOT the background….aaarrrrgggghhhh

    When I select my background layer to create a solid color adjustment layer like he does at 2:36, it does not give me a new layer like it does in the video. Any ideas on why this is happening?
