  1. Remembered Reads

I listened to Vi last week too, so I guess that means the One Read worked if we're all picking up the same book on opposite sides of the country! ? If you haven't read Thuy's Ru, it's very good. And similarly short and stylistically similar, but has a very different character perspective in terms of personality/voice (demographically similar though).

My understanding of the Canada One eRead is that it's an annual event. I don't remember what book it was last year, but in 2019 it was Dawn Dumont's Glass Beads.

  2. Aleatha Monae

I’ve heard great things about Deacon King Kong, I’m moving it up my list. I watched Drag race UK and I did not agree with the bottom 2. I hope we get to see more of the eliminated queen.

Every time you talk about community I remember I need to watch it. I read. Why Fish Don't Exist and Sisters in Hate this month (I guess it was Nonfiction week in my head) and both left me kind of shook and considering life.

  4. G Rodriguez

I just finished Carry On and I loved it‼️While I sort of knew what to expect, the hype ? was so irresistible‼️I also found some surprises like how I grew to like Baz, the ghost visiting, and Simon initiating the kiss‼️

Ps: I got 16 chapters and 87 pages to in A Breath of Snow & Ashes‼️I do like the story, its just that I could do with less kidnapping, and more history mixed romance! In other news I’m almost done with Again But Better, which I’m finding to be funny, and surprisingly heart-wrenching‼️
