  1. I had so much fun with the readathon! I'm glad we were able to put it together 😊. Miss Meteor sounds so good! Between the World and Me was incredible. I read it a few years back and I've got a couple of his other books on my TBR.

  2. Oh that’s so good they changed Elliot Page’s name in the credits! I saw that the cast and crew in the Umbrella Academy were super supportive when he made his announcement, but that Netflix would go the extra step to change the credits so quickly is just so heartening to hear.

  3. i really enjoyed eights years in power by coates but it was pretty dense so i would listen to the audio while reading. definitely need to look into between the world and me

  4. I love both versions of Rent as well, I have the 2005 film, the 2008 live filming and the original soundtrack. Of course most of the 2005 was the original cast but it's interesting to compare how they sound on the soundtrack and how they sound in the movie. I don't know why I love the fact that the original Joanne from the 90s cast who said she couldn't make the movie still insisted that her replacement likewise be African-American.

  5. If you're interested there's a Norwegian Netflix series called 'Ragnarok', available with English subtitles (and for the most part they now include subtitles for the Old Norse) which are way better than the English dubbing, only 6 eps but second season has been confirmed. There's also a show called 'Beforeigners' that's partly time travel (1800s, Stone Age, Norse/Viking Age) and partly buddy cop but is surprisingly good and original, likewise with English subtitles and likewise is only 6 episodes and likewise has a confirmed 2nd season though it's harder to find as it's not on Netflix or anything. Who knows when either second season will be released though, anyone here know Norway's doing with COVID?

  6. I’m actually rewatching The Umbrella Academy! I enjoy Klaus too he’s such a bae‼️ I hope you like the Second season just as much!

I just finished Again But Better, and it was amazing! I’m almost done with A Breath of Snow & Ashes, which as a lot of tension near the climax, which can be scary but cool for big reveals! I’ve got 10 chapters and 47 pages to go in Wayward Son; (which I don’t remember if you’ve read it or not) I found the start of it to be somber but funny, while the middle was full of good action scenes but took awhile to get to the main plot, but still I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out!

  7. I found the audiobook of When No One is Watching super creepy too. I did not help the matter by listening to it on the drive to my 3 AM shift in a mostly empty, mostly dark grocery store and while working in that mostly empty, mostly dark store. I then exacerbated the problem by listening to The Only Good Indian by Stephen Graham Jones. I was really doing myself a lot of favors that month.
